Jared Leto will play Skeletor in the upcoming live-action “Masters of the Universe” film. Leto, known for his transformative roles in films like “Suicide Squad” and “Blade Runner 2049,” will take on the challenge of portraying Eternia’s iconic villain.
Director Travis Knight (“Bumblebee”) has also cast several actors to portray Skeletor’s henchmen:
- Trap Jaw: Sam C. Wilson (“House of the Dragon”)
- Tri-Klops: Kojo Attah (“The Beekeeper”)
- Goat Man: Hafthor Bjornsson (“Game of Thrones”)
This villainous cast joins the previously announced Alison Brie (“Promising Young Woman”) as Evil-Lyn, Camila Mendes (“Riverdale”) as Teela, and Idris Elba (“Hijack”) as Man-at-Arms.
With a script by Chris Butler (“ParaNorman”) and a strong cast and crew, “Masters of the Universe” is set to be a major cinematic event. The film is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2026.
