Mysterio was included in official concept art for Spider-man No Way Home

Spider-man No Way Home continues to be a blockbuster success. And it’s now come to light that Spider-man Far From Home villain Mysterio almost made a return in the film.

Official concept art for the movie has been released which depicts Spider-man villain Mysterio facing off against none other than Doctor Strange. And the scene will be one that is familiar to anyone that has seen the movie. The inclusion of the Statue of Liberty indicates that this battle would have taken place as part of the final fight scene.

The movie already contains five villains from past Spider-man movies meaning that Mysterio’s inclusion would have formed a version of the Sinister Six.

It’s unclear how much of a role the villain would have played but perhaps it was a wise decision in the end not to include him. It can only be assumed that the studio was concerned about attempting to include too many villains.
