Chadwick Boseman excellently embodied the role of Black Panther before he sadly passed away in 2020. While his legacy will live on forever, fans are eager to know who, if anyone, will replace him as Black Panther in the MCU going forward. It seems like we may have finally gotten our answer.
According to insider DanielRPK, Letitia Wright’s Shuri will be the lead of Black Panther Wakanda Forever. BUT only for one movie. We are getting a new Black Panther after this.
Who will be the New Black Panther?
According to industry insider Grace Randolph, Shuri will only be Black Panther for one movie. Which is something that was specifically requested by Letitia Wright.
According to Randolph “Someone else will become Black Panther and that’s all I’m going to say because I don’t want to ruin the end of the movie. It’s a great choice though, people will be happy.”
Who could Randolph be referring to? Could we be seeing Michael B Jordan’s Erik Killmonger be revived to take up the role of Black Panther? It certainly fits the description as a great casting choice and one that fans would be happy about.
Now that the Multiverse saga is upon us, the possibilities are endless. Killmonger is widely viewed as one of the greatest villains in the history of the MCU. Accompanied by one of the greatest performances we’ve seen from an actor in any Marvel movie.
Who would you like to be the New Black Panther? Are you happy that Shuri will be taking up the mantle for the events of Wakanda Forever? Leave a comment below with your thoughts or get in touch over on any of our social media accounts @GeeksGonnaGeek. As always thanks for reading.
