Norman Reedus says he wants to play Ghost Rider in the MCU

Norman Reedus wants to play Ghost Rider. Reedus, of The Walking Dead Fame has recently been liking multiple tweets asking for him to be cast as the Marvel superhero.

“The only name I want to hear for Ghost Rider is Norman Reedus!” is just one example of those tweets.

This follows on from previous interviews where the actor made it clear that he wanted to play Johnny Blaze in the MCU.

The Ghost Rider conversation has been coming up for years, and yeah, tell them to put me in it.

Previous reports coming out of Marvel Studios had suggested that Keanu Reeves may have been cast as the Spirit of Vengeance.

However, last week Charles Murphy of Murphys Multiverse tweeted that Marvel have now cast their Johnny Blaze but that it won’t be Reeves. The tweet has since been deleted.

Speculation aside, Norman Reedus would be the perfect casting for Ghost Rider as a real life motorcycle enthusiast. We could indeed be seeing him with a flaming skull, riding his motorcycle and swinging a chain.
