The hype is building for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The official run time of the movie was revealed this week as two hours and six minutes. A surprising statistic given how much action this MCU installment is rumored to contain. With the likes of The Batman clocking in at around three hours from start to finish, fans had expected the Doctor Strange sequel to follow suit with a similar runtime.
Despite the disappointing runtime, the next entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is certain to contain multiple cameos, reveals and surprises for eager fans. Since the first trailer, one question most fans have had is about the mysterious glowing character shown in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene. Who is it?
Mystery glowing character revealed?
There has been speculation that this character is Tom Cruise as The Superior Iron Man. Whether or not that character will appear in the movie is still unknown however the focused image from the new trailer seems to confirm that this is not him.
According to several reliable sources online, the character is in fact Maria Rambeau, the mother of Monica Rambeau. Potentially playing a variant of Captain Marvel. A fact that was shared by CaptMarvelNews and retweeted by well known Twitter scooper MyTimeToShineHello.
Comicbook’s James Viscardi also took to Twitter to reveal that the image is not The Superior Iron Man.
