Barry Keoghan is an incredibly talented actor. His performance as Druig in Marvel’s Eternals was standout. Now Keoghan is about to jump the fence to the DC Universe where he will join the cast of The Batman.
The actor is playing Stanley Merkel who in the comics is Commissioner Gordon’s first partner. There is now a new rumor suggesting that Barry Keoghan could secretly be playing The Joker in Robert Pattinson’s Batman Universe.

Could Director Matt Reeves be changing Stanley Merkel’s backstory and adapting it for him to become The Joker? The rumor should obviously be taken with a pinch of salt but fans shouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be true.
Keoghan certainly has a distinct look and it would be interesting to see how the actor would portray the iconic villain.
