The Moon Knight QR codes actually work. Here’s what they do

Fans that have been watching Moon Knight on Disney+ have so far been treated to two excellent episodes. The show follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. Moon Knight continues the famous Marvel tradition by including heaps of hidden easter eggs and references for those talented enough to spot them.

Moon Knight Easter Eggs

In one of the coolest easter eggs that Marvel has included to date, Moon Knight contains scannable QR codes. But you need to be fast. In episode one of the series, the QR code is visible on the wall of the museum where Steven works.

When scanned, the QR code brings you directly to Marvel.com where you can read a free Moon Knight comic book.

The same can be said for Moon Knight episode two. This time the QR code is visible on the front of a storage locker.

Again, fans who scan the QR code will be treated to another free Moon Knight comic book courtesy of Marvel.com.

It’s unclear at this point if the codes will feature in every episode of the series but it seems likely. We will certainly be paying a little more attention to the background of scenes in the coming weeks. As always, thanks for reading.
