Temuera Morrison was just a man making his way through the galaxy until he got back into his armor as the famous bounty hunter, Boba Fett. His appearance in the Mandolorian Season 2 was loved by fans so much that not only has Morrison going to be headlining his own series, ‘The Book of Boba Fett’, but also making a return as the Order 66 executing clone trooper, Commander Cody.

Before making an appearance as the infamous bounty hunter in the Mandolorian Season 2, Morrison appeared in the Prequel Trilogy as Jango Fett and Commander Cody. Fans will remember Cody as the first of many clones to execute Order 66 and his first target is none other than our very own, Obi-Wan Kenobi. According to reports, Morrison will reprise his role as the clone Commander Cody opposite Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, before returning alongside Pedro Pascal in the third season of The Mandolorian that will release sometime in 2022.
It will be an interesting encounter between Cody and Kenobi as the two will come face to face after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The last time we saw the two together, Cody was handing Obi-Wan his lightsaber just before he ordered his troops to open fire on the Jedi Master. It was a moment of confusion followed by betrayel for Obi-Wan as he saw his once war compatriot, whom he fought shoulder to shoulder with during the Clone Wars, turn on him.
We think that Commander Cody and Obi-Wan will have a rather emotional exchange in the series, much like what we saw between him and his former Padawan, Anakin Skywalker after he cut him in half after their battle on Mustafar.
Wherever this will lead to, we know we are in for a roller coaster of emotions.
